Privacy Policy
BookIndia Flight – website flight.bookindia.ai and the BookIndia Flight apps for iOS and Android – is operated by BOOKINDIA GLOBAL TOURISM PVT LTD (GOODWEEKS TOURISM), India. Last updated: 2 November 2026.
What we collect
- Account: email address, password (stored only as a salted scrypt hash), optional name and mobile number.
- Bookings: traveller names and titles, contact phone and email, flight, fare and payment status.
- Security logs: IP address and request times, kept briefly to stop abuse and fraud.
What we do not collect
- No card, UPI PIN or bank details – online payments are handled entirely by PayU on their own secure pages.
- No advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, no location, contacts, photos or device identifiers. We do not sell or share data for advertising.
How we use it
Only to create your account, hold and ticket flights with airlines and our licensed booking partner, take payment through PayU, send booking emails and sign-in codes, give customer support and meet legal/tax obligations.
Who receives it
Airlines and our booking supplier (traveller names and contact details needed to issue tickets), PayU (amount, name, email and phone for the payment), our email provider (to deliver emails) and our hosting provider. Each receives only what is needed.
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. In the app your sign-in token is kept in the iOS Keychain / Android Keystore-backed secure storage. Passwords are never stored in readable form.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time in Account → Delete my account (website or app). This removes your login, profile and saved travellers and signs you out on every device. Booking records are kept only as long as airline, tax and accounting law requires. You can also email us to access, correct or delete your data.
Children
The service is meant for adults booking travel; we do not knowingly collect data from children except traveller names given by the booking adult.
